| It always excites me to tackle a project that is different from anything else I've previously done. And, it also turns out that I kind of like the mood and tone of this piece, and will probably explore it further in the future. This doesn't mean that I'm going to be giving up working towards a career in animation, though. Sometimes you just have to face the facts, and right now the fact is there are more jobs available in games than in film, so I'm just adapting my work accordingly |

"Art washes away
from the soul
the dust of
everyday life" - Picasso
Welcome to
It may be a big site but there is a near perfect spot for everybody; just need to look around.
If you need help there are a few ways:
Some things to keep in mind:
Don't forget:
If you submit copyrighted works, it is against deviantART's policy and they will be deleted by the staff and you could be banned for doing so. Also, deviantART is for YOUR works NOT for images that have been found elsewhere on the internet or that you have received through e-mail chain letters.
A few of the common questions asked:
FAQ #147: How do I upload an avatar?
FAQ #106: What are the symbols in front of each deviants nickname?
FAQ #76: What is the deviantWATCH?
FAQ #73: Where is my deviantWATCH?
FAQ #316: How do I add someone to my deviantWATCH?
FAQ #28: What are the benefits of becoming a subscriber?
FAQ #81: How can I make links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?
A few things about posting:
FAQ #79: How do I submit Artwork?
Keep in mind that when you do submit art, dA is a community that encourages comments and critiques. Unless you are on dial-up, it is preferred that you are able to upload larger dimensions. With screen resolutions being on average now 1280x1024 and some common wide screens being 1920x1200, larger versions will be more welcomed. During submission, feel free to change the Fullview Size but then also check the Allow download of original (full-sized) image box.
In closing...
deviantART is a place to have fun. Comment when you see something you like (if you like something, tell why), post your own works, be a part of the community chat and forum, and the most important thing is to enjoy your stay.
